Baylor Takes the Ship

 This is going to be a more opinionated blog compared to my last posts, but Baylor won the NCAA championship on Monday. A pretty devastating loss for the undefeated Zags. I would say that it was some great competition, but Baylor had the win secured through most if not the entire game. The bears played an immaculate game on the court keeping up the pressure on defense and offense the entire time seemingly enough to where Gonzaga wasn’t able to catch up. Jalen Suggs was left in tears when the final buzzer went off to end his freshman season. 

He did an excellent job dropping the near-half court shot to beat UCLA to get into the championship, but overall it was a very exciting game to watch. Two No.1 seeds rarely enter the championship because there are always upsets through the tournament, but these two teams deserved to be where they got. A big accomplishment for Gonzaga and the 2021 NCAA men’s basketball champions, the Baylor Bears.
